I’m a lot older now but I we stayed at these cabins many times from the late 80s, into the 1990 and we’ll into the next century. My wife is gone now. She passed in 2003 but many of my fondest memories of her are in and around those cabins.
We fished and relaxed by the river and always enjoyed our time there.
I believe it was your mother that we became friends with for a time. She had us over for supper several times and would tell us wonderful stories about how the cabins were built and the memories of your dad.
I haven’t been back in over 20 years as I moved to Arizona but I’m thinking of taking a road trip to the PNW again and one of my most cherished places is Caddisfly so with a bit of luck, I’ll be back soon.
This is a truly magical place. I hope it hasn’t changed much.
